Accreditation Tiers
Providers are assessed against our five-pillar framework and awarded the tier that reflects their level of compliance and delivery excellence.

Bronze Standard
Foundation Level Accreditation
The Bronze Standard recognises providers who meet our baseline requirements for safeguarding, safety documentation and operational transparency. This tier confirms that essential compliance foundations are in place.
Requirements
- Valid safeguarding and child protection policy
- Current public liability insurance documentation
- Basic risk assessment framework
- Staff vetting and DBS/background check procedures
- Clear cancellation and refund policy

Silver Standard
Advanced Level Accreditation
The Silver Standard is awarded to providers who demonstrate a more developed approach to governance, safety management and educational programme design. This tier reflects a commitment to continuous improvement.

- All Bronze Standard requirements
- Detailed activity-specific risk assessments
- Documented emergency response procedures
- Evidence of staff training and CPD programmes
- Curriculum-aligned learning outcomes for programmes
- Structured communication protocols with schools
- Minimum 2 verified school references

Gold Standard
Excellence Level Accreditation
The Gold Standard represents the highest level of accreditation. It is reserved for providers who demonstrate exceptional standards across all five pillars, with a proven track record of delivery and a commitment to industry-leading practice.

- All Silver Standard requirements
- Comprehensive safeguarding audit trail
- Independent safety certification or accreditation
- Demonstrated complaint resolution process with evidence
- Minimum 5 verified school references
- Published learning outcomes with measurable impact
- Annual programme review and improvement cycle
- Dedicated safeguarding lead within the organisation

Tier Assessment & Award
Providers are awarded Bronze, Silver or Gold accreditation based on the depth and quality of their compliance evidence.
Note:
Accreditation decisions are based on documented compliance at the time of review. Providers may progress from Bronze to Silver to Gold as they strengthen their governance and delivery standards.
How to Apply for Accreditation
Trip providers interested in becoming a Trip Experts Accredited Partner can begin the process by submitting an initial application and compliance documentation. You will be assessed against the tier that best matches your current level of governance and delivery.

Expected Review Timeline: 2 to 4 weeks.
Annual Review & Standards
Accreditation is valid for 12 months and subject to annual review. Providers may apply to upgrade their tier at any point during the accreditation period.
Trip Experts reserves the right to suspend or withdraw accreditation if standards are not maintained.
Accreditation reflects compliance at the time of review and does not replace independent due diligence by schools.
